They say Crows don’t really steal shiny objects. Except they steal things that resemble food, like watches. Crows rarely get hit, though they are the universal clean up crew. They do us quite a favor and are a true road survivor species. They just might make off with our keys.
Crows are tameable with food and identify individual people. But who wants a crow coming after them, assertively expecting food?  My photographer named this one a raven. Ravens do look a lot like crows, but are larger, with bigger beaks and feathers that look hairy below the beak. They croak instead of caw.
